The Green Anchor is located in Bellarine, on the Bellarine Peninsula

From Geelong - Get on to the Portarlington Road, (the C123) look for the signs to Portarlington. The C123 starts as Ryrie Street, the main East/West street in Geelong. Follow this road for 15 minutes, through the township of Leopold, and continue. Once past the Curlewis Golf Club you'll approach a big roundabout and need to be in the right hand lane and go left to Drysdale (NOT hard left from the left hand lane). Continue along this road through Drysdale (still the C123 or the Geelong Portarlington Road). Scotchman's Road comes off the Geelong Portarlington Road, turn right and look for the bright green painted ships anchor, 3kms along on the left hand side of the road. .

From the Queenscliff Sorrento Car Ferry - Follow the road into Queenscliff and continue along this road (Hesse Street) until you come to a roundabout near the Bowling Club with a sign to Geelong. Turn right and follow this road out of Queenscliff for 7 minutes. Turn right into Portarlington - Queenscliff Road (C126) and continue for about 10 mins. Turn left into Scotchmans Road. Look for the bright green painted ship's anchor on your right.

From the Great Ocean Road - From the Surf Coast Highway, (the B100) Look out for the signs to Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove, and also a big blue Queenscliff Ferry sign on the Surf Coast Highway. Turn right into Mount Duneed Road, and follow the signs through Barwon Heads and then Ocean Grove. You'll come to a roundabout at the intersection of Shell Road and Grubb Road. Continue going straight down Grubb Road for about another 4 minutes, you'll come to another roundabout at the intersection of the Bellarine Highway. Continue straight ahead down Grubb Road to the Drysdale roundabout and continue as per From Geelong heading.

Set in a large country garden this stylishly refurbished solid brick villa offers privacy and comfortable accommodation. From your own living room and veranda take in sweeping views of the Bellarine Peninsula, around Port Phillip Bay and across to Melbourne. In the evening see the lights twinkling around the bay and a myriad of stars above. Breathe in the fresh air and listen to the sounds of the countryside, wake up to bird song. Feed our friendly alpacas, Black Suffolk sheep, dogs and ducks. Peaceful yet close to amenities.

The property features two large bedrooms, both with Queen-size beds – one with an extra single bed, linen and towels provided, cosy wood fire plus electric heaters, fan & cooler, a fully equipped kitchen with large electric stove and microwave,BBQ & outdoor dining area and Breakfast Basket provided on the first morning of your stay. We also provide Colour TV, DVD, VCR, CD, games & puzzles. Children are very welcome at the Green Anchor - cot & high chair available on request. The Villa is also Wheelchair Accessible, with close parking at the front door, wide doorways, no steps, bathroom has railings in the shower and next to the toilet. There is wheel chair space beside the WC pan. Dog friendly but prior agreement of the owners is essential. We do not accept dogs that must stay in the villa. We can provide a suitable kennel if required. There will be a small extra charge for your dog. Please discuss when booking.

Full refund of deposit (less administration fee) if cancellation made two weeks prior to arrival. No refund of deposit if cancellation made within two weeks of booked arrival.
