This quaint 1926 church is now a luxury, self contained B&B in your own private grounds. The furnishings are period, but the facilities are first class.
The Church is designed to take advantage of the soaring ceilings and high windows, with the lounge and king bed/room occupying the same space. Walking through the front door, a feeling of space, the lovely polished floors and a chandelier are the first things you notice.
The comfy lounge (sofa bed) with tv, dvd and video is to the right, and a reading nook to your left. Further into the room, a few steps up to the mezzanine level, is the king-sized bed. The full-sized kitchen and bathroom are tucked away behind.
The kitchen is equipped with large fridge/freezer, with cooking facilities of microvave oven and single element electric hotplate (with outside BBQ). Provisions for a continental/cooked breakfast are included - juice, cereals, bacon, eggs, pancake mix, raisin bread, butter, jam, milk, tea/coffee/milo. Further treats such as complimentary port, percolated coffee and chocolates are provided.
The country decor continues into the bathroom, with a huge spa bath and crisp blue and white chequered floor. All toiletries(including bubble bath and candles) and towels are provided. Ceiling heater makes winter bathing cosy
All linen is provided. For longer stays, a washing machine/dryer is located in the outbuildings. The grounds include an undercover car park, outdoor dining setting, BBQ, pretty flower beds and extensive grassed areas.
